Positioning Statement: Life in Pop Music
Frequency of Publication: Monthly
Price: £2.60
Distribution: Newsagents, supermarkets, music shops and online.
Rationale: The approach of the magazine is specific to young teenage girls aged 11-16. We will offer an insight into the life of pop stars and there will be articles and interviews with various artists who are in the charts. We will make sure we give our audience what they want.
Style: Informal and specific to young girls. The magazine would use simple vocabulary so all ages of the target audience would be able to understand the contents. In articles there would be paragraphs which wouldn’t be that long and where appropriate slang words would be used. Also the images we use would dominate the magazine throughout.
